Directions
Galway is located in the West of Ireland. There is an airport 45 minutes from Galway - Shannon Airport or alternatively, you can fly into Dublin - Ireland’s capital and drive 2.5 hours from East to West. There are buses that go direct from Dublin airport to Galway or also a train from Dublin City Center that stops in Oranmore! There are multiple airlines you can fly with - some of our favorites for direct flights are Aer Lingus and Delta Airlines. The majority of wedding events will take place in Oranmore - located 15 minutes outside Galway city.

What to Do

While we understand our wedding will take a couple of days off your trip….we hope you will be able to extend your time and explore more of this magical island!
5 Days to Play
You could arrive to Dublin on Thursday morning, May 26, and explore the city via tours and museum visits. You could leave for Galway to join the festivities Friday afternoon or take an extra day and arrive for the wedding on Saturday afternoon. You could depart Galway either Sunday evening or Monday morning and drive to the Cliffs of Moher, go explore Connemara and be back in Dublin for a late afternoon flight on Tuesday. A Week to Peek
You could arrive in Ireland on Friday morning, drive to Galway (2.5 hour journey if driving from Dublin) and depart post-wedding festivities on Monday and explore the sunny southwest of Ireland (taking in Cliffs of Moher en route down south). Make your way around Ireland back to Dublin to depart the following Saturday or Sunday (June 4/5). Lots of good options here:
Taking it All In
